FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
All products are inspected before appearing on our website. All locomotives, controllers and other electrical items are tested before they appear on our website. If any defects are noted, be that mechanical, electrical or cosmetic, then they are listed in the description of the item.
If there are no comments in the Product Descriptions highlighting defects, then it means our inspection has not identified anything.
We try extremely hard to identify any and all defects but from time to time, we may miss something. It is never our intention to mislead, so if you do happen to have an issue, please contact us either via the e-mail address at the top of the homepage - www.hampshiremodels.co.uk, or call us on 07769 263755 between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. If we are unable to answer your call, please leave a message with your name, contact number and brief details of the item and issue, and we will call back as soon as possible.
All shipments are sent using Royal Mail services, this applies to both UK Domestic and International orders. All orders will be sent within 2 working days, and you will be sent a dispatch notification by e-mail on the day your parcel has been sent.
International shipping can be very expensive and Royal Mail have strict size and weight limits. Whilst virtually everything can be shipped internationally, there are some products which fall into higher shipping price bands because they exceed the standard size and/or weight limits.
If you find that you are unable to checkout because a shipping price is not available, this is because one or more of the items in the cart is over the size or weight limit. Please contact us if you still wish to buy, and a shipping quote can be prepared for you.
Hampshire Models is an online only business and therefore unfortunately we do not have a physical premises that customers can visit and collect from. Accordingly, all orders have to be shipped.
